4 of the best Marbella beaches

One of the main things that attracts record-breaking numbers of visitors to the Costa del Sol is the stunning weather and the beautiful beaches in Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Whatever time of year you visit the Costa del Sol, most of the beach bars and facilities remain open, so if you are planning to book a luxury Marbella wedding villa, you will find plenty of amazing beaches to sun yourself on nearby.

Four of the best beaches in the Marbella region include:

Golden Beach, Elviria, Marbella

This amazingly long, clean, white beach attracts visitors from all over the Costa, and due to the length of the beach, it never seems to get too crowded.

Restaurants and beach bars on or close to Golden Beach include the world-famous Nikki Beach and The Beach House Restaurant. If you want to spend the day on the beach and enjoy an early evening meal nearby, you will find a host of great bars and restaurants across the road in Elviria.

Puerto Banus Beaches

If you are looking to rub shoulders with the jet set or simply chill out with some great sounds, visit one of the fabulous beaches in Puerto Banus. During the summer months, there are plenty of live bands and guest DJ´s performing on the beaches of Puerto Banus, and in the many beach clubs dotted along the shore, close to your Marbella luxury event villa.

Also, a great choice of water sports are available including paragliding, kite surfing, jet skiing and water skiing. When you have finished soaking up the rays, there is no better place than Puerto Banus to enjoy a wide choice of superb restaurants, serving fresh fish, authentic Spanish dishes, tapas, paella, Indian food, Italian fare and even fish and chips if you want it. The best beach in Puerto Banus is situated east of the Marina, and although there are plenty of parking spaces, try and arrive early in the summer months.

Cabopino Beach, Marbella

Cabopino Beach is among the top 4 Marbella beaches and is one of the most popular attractions on the Costa del Sol. Cabopino is situated just 7km east of Marbella town centre. Exit the motorway at the sign for Cabopino and then follow signs for the beach or drive into the Marina and relax in one of the water side cafés, overlooking the boats, and the tropical gardens of Cabopino.

The beach attracts sun seekers from all over the Costa del Sol, and it is safe for children, as it is relatively shallow and sheltered by two rocky outcrops. You will find two beach bars on the sand in Cabopino, both of which open early for coffee and breakfast, and stay open late into the evening. Enjoy delicious fresh fish, tapas, jugs of sangria, full meals, and local seafood, or simply enjoy a snack or an ice cream in this ideal setting.

Nagueles Beach

This luxurious beach is situated right on the Golden Mile, between Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Home to Marbella's best hotels, most expensive restaurants and most exclusive beach clubs, Playa Nagueles is a playground for the rich and famous. The beach starts next to the Puente Romano Hotel and runs until the Marbella beach club / Playa de Casablanca / Playa Trocadero area.

High-end restaurants and beach bars can be found along the ‘Paseo’ – not cheap but they don’t profess to be!

Marbella luxury villas

If you are looking for a luxury Marbella villa for a wedding, hen party, holiday or corporate event, book as early as possible so that all you have to worry about is topping up your tan!
